Who We Are The Conejo Valley Audubon Society CVAS founded in 1968 is an active Chapter of the National Audubon Society. This chapter is located in Ventura County in Southern California and its 500 members are from southeastern Ventura County and northwestern Los Angeles County The mission of the Conejo Valley Audubon Society is to actively promote the enjoyment and conservation of natural habitats native plants and wildlife with a special emphasis on birds. We accomplish this through birdwatching field trips educational programs restoration work and many other activities.
