Douglas Wyoming Our Mission At the Laramie Peak Humane Society our mission is to protect care for and provide for the reasonable and humane disposition of unwanted or stray dogs cats and other animals assist caregivers and owners of dogs cats and other animals in protecting caring for and treating animals in a compassionate and humane manner. Our Goal To fulfill our mission we prioritize fostering strong community ties through various programs including impound and lost pet services TNR and vouchers. Our team and facility actively engage with the community bringing adoptable pets to adoption drives dog parks and local events in Douglas Wyoming.

🎉 We’re SO excited to share our May adoption numbers. 🎉 Thanks to our amazing community, 27 pets found their forever homes last month — that’s 19 lovable cats and 8 awesome dogs living the good life now. 🐾💕 We’re over-the-moon happy for each one of them — but we’re also still bursting at the seams.

Sage spent her early days as an outdoor cat and still enjoys lounging in the sun or exploring a secure yard—but she’s far too sweet not to have a cozy home of her own. She’s the purrfect mix of independent and affectionate.
