Ready 9 Aviation Academy is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation whose mission is to promote aviation as a STEM career field through the education of youth and adults. We encourage and support the flight training of pilots, as well as other aspects of the aviation industry, to assure the future of aviation as a vital component to the economic value of both the individual and the aviation infrastructure within St. Mary’s County, Maryland. We offer discovery flights, initial flight training, and specialized training in tailwheel aircraft, seaplanes, and more! Our goal is to offer a flight training program that allows every high school-aged student in Southern Maryland to gain hands-on experience in the aviation industry through our ground and flight-based programs.
