Marina’s Ruby Slipper is a nonprofit supporting single mothers and communities through food education, urban gardens, and culinary arts. www.marinasrubyslipper.org Marina's Ruby Slipper is dedicated to supporting single working mothers through mental health, nutrition, and physical well-being. Our newest program, The Chicana Farmer Edu Plate, teaches K-12 students regenerative agriculture, food literacy, and cooking skills, while promoting Social Emotional Learning (SEL) through mindfulness, patience, and responsibility. By fostering intergenerational participation, we aim to build stronger family foundations and empower communities with sustainable health practices.
