We proudly celebrate a new chapter in UFCW’s history following the election of Milton Jones as International President, Shawn Haggerty as Secretary-Treasurer, and Lisa D. Pedersen as Executive Vice President. From a 16-year-old courtesy clerk at Kroger in Alabama to a U.S. Navy veteran, shop steward, and now the first Black International President of UFCW, President Jones’s journey is a powerful reminder of what’s possible when we fight together and lead with purpose. As we look forward to the future of our union under new leadership, we honor and thank former President Marc Perrone for over 50 years of unwavering dedication to our members and the labor movement.
