Blue Balloon Foundation
Our mission is to support individuals with autism of 10 years of age and older to have a certified Autism Exercise Coach and a physical fitness facility to attend to make a significant impact on their physical and self-regulation health. We provide these services without any financial burden on the family. The foundation began operation July 2021 and we have expanded from one to ten individuals with ASD attending two physical fitness weekly sessions on a regular basis. Our oldest participant is Joe of 41 years of age, attends twice weekly and started at 325 lbs and is now 278 lbs. Our other participants are also male and range from 13 to 25 years of age. Blue Balloon is the only provider in the mid-south region of specialized fitness centering on teens and adults with ASD.
