Founded in 1970, the Prospect Park Track Club (PPTC) is Brooklyn's largest and most active running club. Brooklyn's largest and most active running club! Encourage and promote the sport of running and race-walking for competition, health and recreation; to support athletes to participate at national/international competitions; to fund raise for various running/walking and community-related organizations that support the sport; to assist in efforts to conserve, enhance and protect the recreational areas where many of these sporting events are conducted.
