The Boston Cecilia a powerful punch wrapped in the finest silk Boston Classical Review Boston Cecilia will present an afternoon of interactive musicmaking for kids of all ages with singing drumming and probably some stomping of feet. The program will feature playful music set to amusing texts about birds and frogs as well as Rosephayne Powells pulsing rhythmic Non Nobis Domine Sarah Quartels joyful Sing My Child that tells us to sing for the promise in each new morning. and much more. Cecilia is excited to welcome a group of young choristers from the Boston City Singers who will join with Cecilia for Quartels Amabile Alleluia and also present at least one piece of their own.
