A coalition of Black food justice orgs and farms working towards food sovereignty & land justice National Black Food and Justice Alliance (NBFJA) is a coalition of Black-led organizations working towards cultivating and advancing Black leadership, building self-determination, institution building and organizing for food sovereignty, land and justice. The Alliance seeks to achieve this by engaging in broad based coalition organizing for food and land justice, increasing visibility of Black led narratives and work, advancing Black led visions for just and sustainable communities, and building capacity for self-determination within our local, national, and international food systems.

National Black Food & Justice Alliance NATIONAL BLACK FOOD JUSTICE ALLIANCE Collectively Creating a Just Food Land Revolution Who We Are The National Black Food and Justice Alliance represents hundreds of Black urban and rural farmers organizers and land stewards based nationwide working together towards an intergenerational urbanrural movement to map assess train and deepen the organizing institution building and advocacy work protecting Black land and work towards food sovereignty. Together we are designing building and protecting the nourishing safe and liberatory spaces our communities need and absolutely deserve. In order for any people or nation to survive land is necessary. Down where we are food is used as a political weapon.

" This past Thursday at the 5th annual Black-Led Day at the @upandcoming. foodcoops conference in Kalamazoo, MI, We gathered Black cooperators from across the country to build, vision, and root deeper into what it means to create self-determined food systems on our own terms.
