Hello Everyone! As StageSource continues its sunsetting process, we wanted to provide you with an update on the future of our programming. Annual Auditions: Boston Playwrights’ Theatre will host and produce the auditions in 2024. During the 2023-24 season, BPT will convene a group of stakeholders to identify a rotating or collectively-held process for producing/managing the auditions in future years. Contact Darren Evans at darrene@bu.edu. Prop Co-op: Janie Howland will continue to manage the Co-op for prop storage and rentals with its new home at Speakeasy Stage. Contact Janie at jehowland@verizon.net. Job Postings/Job Fair: We are working on an online site for job postings (and possibly for ticket offers as well), and should have something in place soon! Contact Beth Peters for updates at bethpetersboston@gmail.com Line Drawn: Impact Boston, which was our partner in developing this initiative, will continue to run it. Contact Meg Stone at mstone@impactboston.org. A11Y Initiative: Access initiatives will be taken over by Chris Robinson’s organization, Think Outside the Vox. Contact Chris at chris@thinkoutsidethevox.org. Gender Explosion: The Gender Explosion Initiative will continue to run independently, led collectively by its members. Script Library: The library has been partially moved to Michelle Aguillon’s office at the Creative Arts School in Reading. Contact Michelle at director@weteachcreativearts.org. Other books materials will be moved to the University of Massachusetts in Lowell. Circle of Friends: This program offers two-for-one tickets to participating theaters.
