Don't forget this Saturday, May 31st, ACT is hosting CrEEK Family Fest at Tuscawilla Preserve!🌱🐛🌼 There will be lots of free activities for families, including water games to help you stay cool and popsicles, while supplies last. 🪶 New feathers loading... Marjorie Crane-An Rawlings is in her teenage era and has started sporting a little faux-hawk around Prairie Creek Preserve. She says it's not a phase, Mom. -- Sandhill crane chicks are almost fully grown (around 3-4 feet tall) at around three months. They often stay with their parents until 9-10 months, at which point they separate. They will begin mating and having their own colts at around two years. (fb)
