An Atlanta nonprofit dedicated to providing resources to families in financial crisis who have children facing life threatening illnesses and disabilities. SPK support families caring for children facing life threatening illnesses & disabilities Our mission is to provide resources to families in financial crisis who are caring for children facing life-threatening illnesses and disabilities to support a healthy and safe home environment, full access to medical care and equipment, as well as educational support. SPK is a 100% volunteer led 501©(3) charity that relies on an active board of directors, volunteers and generous donors to provide emergency and immediate assistance to families of sick and disabled children in crisis. Our funding gives kids (ages 18 & under) the hope to cope with their illness, and to fully participate in our community and have an increased quality life. We actively raise funds through special events, grant writing, corporate sponsorships, merchandise sales and individual donations.
