Justice For Sierah is a nonprofit organization dedicated to making our communities safer from repeat, violent offenders - in honor of Sierah "Ce" Joughin. We are committed to offering and integrating self-awareness and self-defense in communities and in school curriculum through the Sierah Strong program. Our work also includes protecting communities by implementing Sierah's Law, in all 50 states. The organization was established following the tragic death of Sierah Joughin, who was abducted while riding her bicycle on July 19, 2016. Her kidnapper was a repeat, violent offender living nearby. The incident led to the creation of Sierah's Law, enacted in Ohio in 2018, which allows citizens to access information about violent offenders in their communities.

Sierah’s Law

This law established a database accessible to both law enforcement and the public, enabling the identification of violent offenders in neighborhoods. As of recent reports, over 3,600 violent offenders are registered under this law.

Sierah Strong Program

The organization provides school-based and community trainings, focusing on self-awareness and self-defense. These programs have benefited over 2,000 students with more than 7,000 hours of training.
