Heidelores Heroes
Heidelore's Heroes sends care packages to kids with cancer and their families. The main thing included are American Girl dolls, because they are a friend when a kid needs one, someone to come to the hospital to receive chemo and remind them that they are never alone. The care packages also include things like other toys, gift cards for groceries and hospital essentials. Childhood cancer receives less than 4% of all cancer research funding. Heidelore's Heroes is determined to help these families face the hardest time of their lives and feel supported and loved the whole way.
