Who We Are CONNECTING WITH YOUTH DISRUPT Utah is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to reduce recidivism while supporting a new generation of empowered young leaders. Our vision is to engage youth that are in states custody and those within lowtomoderate income neighborhoods to disrupt generational trauma exercise emotional resilience and actively commit to racial and social equity. WHAT WE DO REDUCING RECIDIVISM Our program curriculum addresses the barriers of body autonomy and intergenerational trauma healing with youth ages 11 to 17 and includes interactive workshops in psychoeducation and crosscultural awareness. How to Help SHAPING THE FUTURE DISRUPT Utah will bring awareness to and alleviate the deficits in resources for these youth and collaborate with community partners to address their needs both emotionally and physically.
