The Pretty Girl Project is a Chicago-based 501c3 nonprofit organization. Our mission is to help end cervical cancer and lower the HPV infection rates among teens and women. And improve on the quality of health care by bridging the gap between health care reform and community relations.
Unfortunately, due to inadequate health insurance and financial challenges, many women miss having regular pap smears, an essential screening test for cervical cancer & HPV. And that’s where The Pretty Girl Project is making the greatest impaimpac.
Our organization is partnering with medical centers throughout the City of Chicago to launch an incentive program and provide uninsured women in multi-cultural communities with resources to Free/and or low cost Pap smear exams which coincides with HPV testing.
