Pet Welfare Adoption Center All our tails have happy endings Welcome to Pet Welfare Rehoming cats dogs for over 40 years Pet Welfare was created in September 1982 so that military members needing to relinquish their pets had a safe place to leave them until we could find a home for them. Stray pets were also brought to Pet Welfare waiting to be adopted. At that time we were giving cats and dogs away because we had so many to care for and we were just happy to find a home for all of them. We were a nokill animal shelter open to the public working to help the military and the local community when they had to leave their pets behind.
