TRYON FINE ARTS CENTER is a nonprofit organization providing world class entertainment & fostering the arts in the Foothills of North and South Carolina. The Tryon Fine Arts Center's mission is to serve as a creative driving force for performances, exhibits, arts in education and community partnerships in the Foothills of North and South Carolina. In addition, we have been in the forefront of arts in education programs. Our commitment to arts in education is exhibited through advanced training classes, juried student art exhibits, trips to the opera, drama tours, summer theater camps, Pacolet Junior Appalachian Musicians (PacJAM), grants and training for teachers to bring art in their classroom, art immersion programs and instructional classes in a variety of Artforms. We also initiated a successful Film Series in 2014. TFAC also rents spaces on our campus to other nonprofits for their events, with partnerships that have included the Tryon Little Theater, the Tryon Garden Club, Tryon Concert Association, and the Tryon Riding and Hunt Club.
