The Buffalo Tennis and Squash Club is a private racquet club located in one of Buffalo's oldest neighborhoods, just north of downtown Buffalo, New York. Established in 1915, it is one of the nation's oldest sports clubs.

Historic Clubhouse
The Buffalo Tennis and Squash Club's clubhouse is a notable historic building. It was constructed between 1915 and 1916 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The building is a 2+1⁄2-story Classical Revival–style structure with a hipped roof, made of hollow tile and sheathed in stucco with brick quoins[2][5]. Over the years, the clubhouse has seen several expansions, including the addition of squash courts in 1929 and a second tennis court in 1968[2].
Legal Status
The Buffalo Tennis and Squash Club is a nonprofit organization designated as a 501(c)(7) social and recreational club. As such, donations to the club are not tax deductible[3].
Historical Significance
Throughout its history, the club has been a gathering place for many prominent businessmen and professionals of Buffalo, and many of their descendants remain as members today. This legacy underscores the club's enduring presence in the community[4][5].
