𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿: "𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀!" Our beautiful “Birthing Center” here at our “Love A Child” Compound is “open for business,” 24/7 because “babies can’t wait!” When we had our old “Jesus Healing Center Clinic,” there were times when a pregnant mom delivered her baby right on the ground, before we could get her inside the Clinic. Since poor Haitian mothers are generally in bad health, this has always presented a problem for them to have a safe childbirth. That’s when we decided to build a beautiful “Birthing Center” to take good care of poor mothers and their babies! Relatives and “nervous dads” can sit on our porch in one of our rocking chairs,” and “rock and roll,” with Christian music until the baby comes. We have beautiful recovery rooms and good food waiting for Mom when she’s ready! A bundle of gifts is waiting for “baby,” and the mother can leave happy and healthy at no cost. “Open Your Hands Wide.” We are so thankful God has blessed us with precious partners who love the poor. Giving to the poor is not only a Commandment, but it automatically brings God’s blessings upon us! God loves it when we give to the poor. But in Deuteronomy 15:7-8, the Lord tells us that when we bless the poor, we are to “open our hands wide!” “If there be among you a poor man of one of thy brethren within any of the gates in thy land which the Lord thy God give thee, thou shalt not harden thine heart, nor shut thy hand from thy poor brother: But thou shalt open thine hand wide unto him; and thou shalt surely lend him sufficient for his need, in that which he wanteth.” God’s greatest blessings come from obedience in helping the poor, because the poor cannot pay you back, but God will!
