A college/community orchestra founded in 1974, and offered as a class at Imperial Valley College since 1975. 501(c)3 Corp THE PRIMARY PURPOSE IS TO FURTHER THE MUSICAL EDUCATION AND APPRECIATION OF THE MEMBERS OF THE ORGANIZATION AND TO THE COMMUNITY. THE PURPOSE AND POWERS ARE TO PROVIDE CONCERTS, OPERAS, SYMPHONIES, AND OTHER CULTURAL AND EDUCATIONAL EXHIBITIONS, AND PROVIDE MUSIC SCHOLARSHIPS.
