The association provides communication, leadership, training, mentoring and support to affiliate Sheltie Rescue groups. The NSRAs primary mission is to provide funds for medical care to Affiliate Sheltie Rescue groups and serve as a central point for the public to locate responsible rescue groups and education regarding the Sheltie breed.
