✨History of UMB – Did You Know...? In 1992, Utah Regional Ballet premiered its signature work, Legend of Timpanogos, choreographed by Jacqueline P Colledge. This original ballet, inspired by the beloved local legend, quickly captured the hearts of audiences and became a cornerstone of URB’s repertoire. Over the years, Legend of Timpanogos has been performed across the U.S. and internationally in China, Austria, and Germany, sharing a piece of Utah’s heritage on the world stage. The ballet was also proudly featured during the 2002 Winter Olympic Games in Salt Lake City, representing the beauty and spirit of our community through the universal language of dance.
