As we head into air conditioning season, Central Furniture Rescue is looking for a volunteer with heating and cooling (HVAC) experience to help us stay comfortable and safe. Central Furniture Rescue provides furniture and household items at no cost to individuals and families who are transitioning out of experiencing homelessness and into their own places to live. A socially and environmentally responsible option Central Furniture Rescue actively recycles collaborating with city authorities and private organizations to divert as much waste from landfills as possible. To manage our inventory effectively and sustain our mission CFR may sell overstock or highvalue items when necessary.
