Project in Motion Inc

Project in Motion Inc is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization recognized for its work in the arts and performance sector. Incorporated in 1999, it has been tax-exempt since March 2005.

Project in Motion is a modern and aerial dance company that focuses on collaborative performances, fostering an environment where artists and their communities can experiment with and push the boundaries of live performance. Over the years, Project in Motion has performed at various unique venues, including historic homes, along the Rio Grande, and in New York lofts. Their performances blend different artistic elements, such as aerial and terrestrial dance pieces, often inspired by famous works of art.

Notable Works

One of their notable collaborative efforts is The Palace at Night, a series of vignettes inspired by the works of Alberto Giacometti. This piece featured a custom-built sculpture designed by Project in Motion's artistic director and sculptor/aerialist Trevor Boswell.
