HackTheU is Utah's largest 24 hour hackathon, sparking creative innovation in technology spaces since 2016! HackTheU exists to foster learning in the Utah technology community through inclusive collaboration, innovation, and self improvement. HackTheU aims to provide matriculated students of 18 years of age and older opportunities through programming competitions, education of new technologies, and the chance to participate in large scale hackathons for the use of developing new technology while interacting with peers from across the nation. The primary objectives are to allow students to experiment with new ideas in computer science and to also gain exposure so that they can gain opportunities to further their careers.
