KidsRead2Kids builds Reading Confidence, regardless of learning differences, one book at a time. KidsRead2Kids is a 501(c)(3), Parents Choice award-winning nonprofit founded by dyslexic and ADHD siblings to bring joy and confidence back to the struggling learner. According to Understood.org, 1 in 5 children have learning challenges. Statistics show that children who struggle to read rarely read on their own. KidsRead2Kids provides video-audiobooks of abridged classic novels, read by high school volunteers of varying backgrounds, who serve as role models. According to the National Literacy Trust, having a positive reading role model can change a child’s relationship to literacy for life. Our goal is to show all children that they are not alone, and that their futures hold endless possibility. Our digital magazine, lesson plans, games, and activities are in over 60 countries.
