Ten years ago, Brad Clark joined the Gill Foundation as vice president of partnerships. He was already a seasoned advocate for the #LGBTQ community, having led successful campaigns in Iowa and Colorado on issues ranging from safe schools to marriage equality to nondiscrimination to transgender healthcare. Three years later, he advanced to president & CEO, leading the foundation for the better part of a decade. It was a period of enormous challenges – and incredible progress. During Brad's tenure, millions of LGBTQ Americans gained new protections through bans on "conversion therapy," policies safeguarding marriage equality, nondiscrimination protections, the list goes on and on... His leadership has been rooted in a deep commitment to build a better world for LGBTQ #youth. This marks Brad’s final week at the Gill Foundation – though we know he’ll stay close by as he sets out on his next chapter. To celebrate the incredible impact he’s made and wish him well on the adventures ahead, Brad’s friends, colleagues, and mentors came together to share their reflections.
