The Black Tie Coalition is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring that every individual receives a proper and dignified burial, irrespective of their financial or familial status; we believe in dignity in death for all, supporting families, friends, and direct mourners in their time of need. We support those in need by alleviating the financial strain associated with funeral costs. By providing burial space, caskets, or direct payments to the funeral home, The Black Tie Coalition offers support and guidance during one of life's most difficult times. From advocacy and policy reform to community support and research, our mission is to foster a society where every individual is accorded respect and compassion beyond life.
