Our vision is to see Haitians thrive in Atlanta and in Haiti. Our mission is to identify and address the intellectual challenges to this vision by means of community engagement activities, lectures, research, conferences, seminars, publications, and a variety of educational courses. At its core, the Institute seeks to support and advance Haitian studies, articulate Haitian ideals, promote action-oriented reflection, and advance practices that enrich, unite, and strengthen the community.
