Our staff are arriving! And we're excited to introduce them to their summer bunkhouse! If you follow our newsletters, you may already know that SIHA was the receipient of a generous land donation, the old “Sessions Lodge” property, located in Obsidian, Idaho. We are calling this mid-valley hub the Center for the Sawtooths. The vision for the property is to be a public education center that supports the Sawtooth NRA through visitor services, education, community gathering and partnerships, and staff housing! Volunteers, board members, community members, and SIHA staff have been working tirelessly throughout the winter and spring to have the bunkhouse ready for staff arrivals this week. Thank you so much for all your hardwork! It is really a huge achievement.
