Federal Defenders of New York Serving Clients in the Second Circuit and the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York News The Federal Defenders of New York vigorously defends persons charged with federal crimes who cannot afford to hire an attorney. We are an independent nonprofit organization with lawyers practicing in the federal courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. We have offices located in Manhattan Brooklyn White Plains and Central Islip. Our mission is straightforward provide the highestquality representation to our clients by drawing upon the collective skill dedication and passion of our entire staff.
