Service League of Hickory, NC - Charity, Public Service, Education Backpack Program This program provides backpacks filled with nutritious child friendly vitamin enriched foods for students at risk of hunger in the Hickory Public School system. These backpacks are available for students to take home on the weekends and holidays when school lunches are not offered. Community Connection The Community Connections Committee focuses on engaging league members through service projects within our community through partnering with area organizations that align with our mission of charity public service and education. Projects vary each year are community based and are handson opportunities.
