WISHFUL WEDNESDAY... meet GINGER!! our wish for this sweet SENIOR is a 2nd chance. please take 5 seconds and share her story (don't just like, that doesn't help her be seen). GINGER came in yesterday as a very heartfelt Owner Surrender. her only person went into assisted memory care for dementia and there is no one to care for her. GINGER's lost the only home she's known and the constant she deserves. GINGER is a wonderful pup and you can tell she was deeply loved. she is a bit sad and rightful confused. BUT, she's trying really hard to smile... GINGER is a very spry and pretty active 11 yr old, 50 lb Cattle Dog/Rough Collie-x. Other than a few old lady lumps and bumps, she's in good health. She's already spayed, HW- and UTD on all her vaccinations. Staff reports she appears potty trained. She's excellent on a leash and knows a few commands. Perfect home would be maybe a Senior looking for a Senior or someone looking for an easy, low-key couch potato/walking buddy. Please come down and meet her!! Longview Animal Care and Adoption Center is open 12-5 PM Tuesday thru Saturday. She doesn't deserve to end up here and we owe it to her Owner to find her the right retirement home. (fb)
