The University of Texas Longhorn Alumni Band The Longhorn Alumni Band The purpose of the LHAB is to advance the interest of The University of Texas Longhorn Band LHB in establishing and maintaining the LHB as the foremost among bands of its type to promote the cause of education via scholarships and to establish a mutually beneficial relationship between The University of Texas at Austin and former members of the LHB. The University of Texas Longhorn Alumni Band began in 1964 with 67 members. Now LHAB consists of over 4000 members spanning 12 countries. The Alumni Band meets annually for Band Day for a weekend of camaraderie playingmarching and the annual Business Meeting.

We are all volunteers giving back our time in support of the organization that meant so much to us during our college years.
