Non profit animal sanctuary. We adopt elder/needy animals and share them with people in healing encounters. Apifera Farm provides a forever home for elderly/special needs creatures including barn animals. Some of these are hospice cases. The animals are also shared with elderly/special needs people for mutual joy and comfort. The farm is also home to a special Elderly Cat Suite where elder cats are adopted out of overcrowded rescues-many of these cats have lost their elder owners. We believe in the beauty of elders-and that they need our respect and love, both animal and human. We take certain animals into elder care facilities on a regular weekly basis-including the goats, llama and certain equines. During the COVID epidemic, we began doing Llama Window Walks with Harry the llama to cheer up the elder residents. We also bring elders tot eh farm.
