%whyiam Breaking the cycle of hopelessness and youth incarceration Why I Am is a safe and inviting experience for youth and young adults as they embark on their journey of selfdiscovery to adulthood. What we offer Hope to see Programming Why I Am provides our participants with a biweekly educational program. Research shows that the development of positive character traits such as honesty etiquette life skills health and fitness and positive selfimage are related to healthy youth development and progress. Our educational program integrates experiential learning teaching and discussion.
