𝙏𝙝𝙚𝙣 & 𝙉𝙤𝙬: 𝙁𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙈𝙤𝙩𝙤𝙧 𝙎𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙡𝙮 𝙩𝙤 𝙈𝙤𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙣 𝙏𝙝𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙨 In the 1920s, Automobile Alley was home to over 2/3 of Oklahoma City’s car dealerships. This 1947 photograph shows McClellan Motor Supply Co. at 1007 N Broadway—part of the bustling automotive district that gave the area its name. Today, SHOP GOOD, one of the only water-based print shops in the Midwest, designs and creates screen-printed apparel produced in this same historic building. Their super soft water-based ink gives their products a vintage feel to match the landmark neighborhood where they’re made, where 1920s auto dealerships have been transformed into a flourishing arts and entertainment hub. From supplying car parts to crafting locally inspired and produced apparel, the entrepreneurial spirit of Automobile Alley continues to drive forward.
