We’re proud to welcome Lisa Young (she/her), medical student at Johns Hopkins and long-time disability inclusion advocate, to the 2025 MENTOR Washington Annual Conference. Lisa brings four years of experience leading the Equal Access in Science and Medicine (EASM) committee, working to empower students with disabilities, chronic illnesses, and mental health conditions through education and peer support. In her session, "Promoting Disability Inclusion through Lectures and Peer Support," Lisa will share actionable strategies for mentors and youth professionals to create safe, inclusive environments where all youth—regardless of ability—feel seen, valued, and supported.
