💚 Mission Monday | National CPR & AED Awareness Week 💛 Every heartbeat matters — and every second counts. This National CPR & AED Awareness Week, we’re reminded why our Keep The Beat initiative was launched: to prevent sudden cardiac deaths in youth through early detection, education, and rapid response. Through our Keep the Beat program, we screen thousands of student-athletes each year — and we train students, staff, and community members to step in and save a life with CPR and an AED. Together, we’re building a heart-safe South Carolina. 💓 #CPRWeek #KeepTheBeat #MissionMonday #SuddenCardiacArrest #CPRSavesLives #AEDAwareness #NOLANetwork #nootherlifeaffected #hearthealth❤️ (fb)

💜In Memory of Shane Tanzosh Shane was a lifelong athlete who played basketball from the time he was five. Fit, dedicated, and active, he pushed himself in cardio classes and lived for the game—and for a healthy lifestyle. But Shane also experienced occasional irregular heartbeats. Despite a normal ECG and echocardiogram, his condition went undetected. In his sleep at just 26 years old, Shane passed away from arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy (ARVC)—a silent, inherited heart condition that can lead to sudden cardiac arrest in young people. Shane’s story reminds us that even the healthiest young hearts can hide risk. This is why we do the work we do—why we screen, why we educate, and why we fight for awareness. We’re thankful for Shane’s family & their work to honor his memory. As they spread awareness in Myrtle Beach & throughout the state, we’re walking beside them in friendship, collaboration, & love, to ensure no other life is affected by SCA…for Shane, for Vari, for you! 💚 His heartbeat matters. And so does yours. (fb)
