TO PROMOTE OPTIMUM HEALTH AND HUMAN WELFARE THROUGH ADEQUATE USE OF MILK AND MILK PRODUCTS IN ACCORD WITH SCIENTIFIC RECOMMENDATIONS AND THUS CONTRIBUTE TO AN IMPROVED NATIONAL WELLBEING AND A MORE SECURE AMERICAN AGRICULTURE.
