The Friends of Tecolote Canyon
Friends of Tecolote Canyon supports the children's education program housed at the Tecolote Nature Center. School children participate in field trips and nature walks in the open space park experiencing native habitat, planting and tending native plants, cultural activities related to Kumeyaay people who historically benefited from resources in Tecolote Canyon. Children learn the importance of preserving native habitat.
