Local fairtrade store in Mooresville Press Release FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Unique World Gift Announces Closure After 33 Years of Service Hickory North Carolina January 23 2025 Unique World Gift UWG a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting fair trade and ethical consumerism has announced that it will be closing its doors after 33 years of service to the Hickory community. The decision to close was made after careful consideration by the Board of Directors who cited several factors that contributed to the decision including financial challenges operational limitations and a changing retail landscape. We are grateful for the support of our community over the years said Tina Dao President of the UWG Board of Directors.
