Sharefish Inc
Sharefish works in partnership with a very poor village in southern Honduras to provide education resources and opportunities to the community. The two main programs are: (1) a sponsorship program in which more than 150 students are provided financial assistance to go to elementary and high school, and (ii) a community learning center that has a library, computer lab, preschool room, youth room and community conference room. The community learning center is run by Lizzy Garcia, a local Honduran with a university degree in natural sciences who has teaching experience. Among other programs at the community learning center, there are two computer classes a week, a 4-day weekly preschool program, and weekly adult sewing classes.
