Shadow Hills Vaulting Club teaches the sport of equestrian vaulting in a safe, fun environment where athletes of all experience levels can train, compete, perform, and share a love of horses through gymnastics and dance on horseback. Shadow Hills Vaulting Club is a sports-based youth development program dedicated to creating a safe, fun environment for athletes of all experience levels to train, compete, perform, and share a love of horses through the sport of equestrian vaulting. In addition to being a fun and artistic sport, equestrian vaulting builds strong life skills that are essential for personal and athletic development. It builds physical coordination, balance, and strength. It fosters creativity, and encourages imagination through elements of music and dance. It builds teamwork, trust, and self-confidence as our athletes learn to work together as a team while also discovering their individual strengths. It also teaches responsibility as vaulters are entrusted with caring for the needs of their horse.
