Berni & Murcer transforms children away from the trauma of a cancer diagnosis and treatment to a sta Berni & Murcer – Friends for Life provides emotional support, comfort, inspiration, and encouragement to children (and their families) with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses at all stages of their journeys to get well—from the treatment phase, to recovery, to wellness maintenance and the child’s re-entry into the community through its therapeutic Comfort Backpack program. Primary focus is on children and families in the Northeast, however the long range vision of the organization is expand its outreach efforts across the United States and abroad.
