We inspire community wellness and the continued development of performing arts in Petersburg. Our Journey Todays Mitkof Dance Troupe began in 1996 as Steppin Out Dance Studio the first performing arts school in Petersburg Alaska. It was owned and operated by our founder Melinda Anderson and governed by a studentled board.
