Huron Professor Richie Bloomfield recently co-facilitated and judged the first annual Case Study Competition for students from the London District Catholic School Board. This exciting event gave Grade 11 and 12 students the chance to engage with a Huron University case study, and they were tasked with developing their own expansion recommendations for the business. Students presented to a panel of three judges, with the top team from each group advancing to the final round. The top two teams then presented in front of all participants and judges, including a representative from the featured company, Nuts for Cheese (founded by a Huron alum, Margaret Coons!). Today, we are excited to celebrate Huron's Director of Wellness Services, Heidi Braaksma MSW, RSW, for her nomination and recognition at the annual Breakfast of Champions event hosted in partnership by St Joseph's Health Care Foundation and the Canadian Mental Health Association.
