We are a 501c3 that believes Coombs Creek is a local treasure that should be safe and where possible accessible. The watershed, with it's unique plants and wildlife, should be preserved and protected for the enjoyment and education of the community. Coombs Creek Conservancy is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in the Oak Cliff neighborhood of Dallas, Texas whose vision centers on the belief that Coombs Creek is a local treasure that should be preserved and protected. We believe that the unique plants and wildlife of this local watershed should be preserved and protected for the enjoyment and education of not only our generation, but hopefully for many generations to come. We engage residents in the stewardship of Coombs Creek and raise ecological awareness through education, outreach, training and other demonstration projects.
