North American Fetal Therapy Network: A voluntary association of U.S. and Canadian fetal treatment centers NORTH AMERICAN FETAL THERAPY NETWORK, INC. ("NAFTNET") HAS BEEN ORGANIZED TO FACILITATE THE RESEARCH OF THERAPY FOR FETUSES. THE MEMBERS AND AFFILIATES OF NAFTNET ARE HOSPITALS AND OTHER ORGANIZATIONS WITH FETAL TREATMENT IN NORTH AMERICA HAVING ACTIVE CLINICAL PROGRAMS CENTERS IN FETAL THERAPY. THE PRIMARY FUNCTIONS OF NAFTNET ARE TO PROVIDE A COOPERATIVE CLINICAL RESEARCH NETWORK TO STUDY THE NATURAL HISTORY OF FETAL DISEASE; EVALUATE THERAPEUTIC PRENATAL INTERVENTIONS TO IMPROVE OUTCOMES AND TO MAKE DATA ON FETAL THERAPIES FROM THE MEMBERS AND AFFILIATES AVAILABLE TO RESEARCHERS APPROVED BY NAFTNET. IN ADDITION, NAFTNET WILL FUNCTION AS AN EDUCATIONAL RESOURCE FOR PATIENTS AND FOR HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS AND TRAIN FUTURE LEADERS IN BASIC SCIENCE RESEARCH IN THE FIELD OF FETAL INTERVENTION.

Home | North American Fetal Therapy Network Welcome to the north american fetal therapy network NAFTNET. The North American Fetal Therapy Network is a voluntary association of 54medical centers in both the United States South America Canada and Mexico that perform advanced inutero fetal therapeutic procedures. Physicians at these Fetal Treatment Units practice in both academic and community based environments and specialize in fields such as maternalfetal medicine pediatric surgery neonatology pediatric cardiology and fetalultrasound. The primary goal of NAFTNet is to provide an umbrella organization to assist the various medical centers that practice fetal medicine promote cooperation between these centers and foster research in the field of fetal therapy.
